Gruensfeld/Munich – Analytica, the International Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis and Biotechnology – opened its gates in Munich on 23rd March 2010. A welcome occasion for ambitious Bohlender GmbH from Gruensfeld to present itself to the interested trade visitors from all over the world. In hall B1 on booth 337A, the dynamic enterprise staged its two brands BOLA and SICCO – both in their own separate areas, but still distinguishable as part of the same family.
The desiccators and drying cabinets of the “SICCO by Bohlender” brand with their clear design caught the eye immediately. Developed for the dust- and humidity-free storage of sensitive substances, they enjoyed great popularity because of their stable construction and elaborate functions.
More particulate, but not less impressive, BOLA professional labware made of high-performance plastics such as PTFE (also known as TEFLON from DuPont), was presented some metres away to the visitors. The BOLA P-Magnetic Stirrer Heads turned out to be the hit of this trade fair. These stirrer heads are especially suitable for stirring and mixing under vacuum, can be used with many different stirrer shaft materials and on top of that, they have a very favourable price – a novelty which was awaited by laboratory professionals. Of course also other products such as Propeller Stirrer Shafts, Multiple Distributors for Bottles, Flexible and PTFE Tubing attracted many visitors to the appealingly designed and modern booth.
The keen interest in both brands at Analytica 2010 again confirms that quality products made in Germany from company Bohlender meet the requirements of the international laboratory sector. “Of course we are happy about the big interest in our products, about the many good conversations and the new contacts we could make. The participation was really worthwhile” said managing director Volker Bohlender.
