After having managed all team challenges such as climbing trees and rope bridges, roping down and many more, in the "Forest Jump" in 2005, the staff of Bohlender GmbH had to meet a new challenge.
Volker Bohlender, managing director, had organized a trip with canoes on the river Kocher. But first, the guides of "100% Kanu+Bike" faced the staff with a special task: building a float on their own. Every team had several planks, barrels and lots of ropes at their disposal to build up a float. Teamwork and communication were the keys to manage this task. Afterwards, every crew has been equipped with paddles and life vest and was keen to do a test run on the river Kocher. After all these efforts, the staff has really earned a refreshment. In the afternoon, the BOLA fleet, consisting of 14 canoues, started in Forchtenberg the tour on the river Kocher. Although some crews had checked whether the life vests do serve their purpose, all boats managed the weir in Ernsbach and arrived well at the finish in Sindringen. All participants enjoyed about 10 km of paddling, steering, simple gliding as well as turbulent water. At the end of the day, the whole staff joined dinner in Jagsthausen and took the opportunity to recover and to talk about the many highlights of this day.
