GRÜNSFELD / LAUDA-KÖNIGSHOFEN. On 10th April, President Volker Bohlender invited for a special ceremony: Together with his father and the company´s founder Hermann Bohlender as well as other guests, he congratulated production manager Ernst Schweitzer for his 30th anniversary at BOHLENDER.
Mr. Schweitzer passed his apprenticeship at company Zwick, a manufacturer of testing machines in Lauda, and started his career at BOHLENDER GmbH on 5th April 1983. At first as an employee, and later as foreman in the production, Mr. Schweitzer is now production manager and "contributed to the company´s success story by giving many ideas and much dedication", stressed Volker Bohlender.
After all the words of gratitude, Mayor and current chairman of the "Industriepark ob der Tauber" Thomas Maertens handed over the certificate of honour of the Chamber of Commerce. And because a supporting partner is always important, Mr. Schweitzer´s wife even got a bouquet of flowers.
Also, the positive 2012 business performance was a reason to celebrate and it should continue in 2013.
An important milestone in the year before was the start-up of the new production and storage hall with approx. 800 qm on BOHLENDER´s premises in the Industrial park "Industriepark ob der Tauber". However, already this year the company´s future course is set. Mid of this year, the modern machinery will be enlarged by three numerically controlled machines.
One of the most important part of BOHLENDER´s success is Human Resources Management. In 2012, we gained more workforce on several positions. Even currently, BOHLENDER is looking for more personnel for example as toolmaker. Especially the promotion of young professionals is important for BOHLENDER. This is why the company already started acquisition of apprentices for 2014.
Corresponding to the company´s philosophy, it is just consequent to involve the employees consistently in the company´s development and to celebrate this success as a team. This is why the BOHLENDER Adventure day takes place in early summer to support teambuilding within the crew as well as a cooperative communication for all employees. Amongst others, a segway tour and a crossing of the "Igelbach" lake by cableway are planned.
