Wheat beer trophy produced in-house

The first BOHLENDER wheat beer cups produced in-house recently came off the production line. Managing Director Volker Bohlender himself initiated the project last summer.

Small and large drinking cups in many different colors have been part of the promotional product range of the manufacturer of laboratory supplies made of high-performance plastics for years. In the future, the transparent wheat beer cups from the company's own production will supplement the promotional product range. Lightweight and unbreakable, as they are made of polycarbonate, they are particularly practical for outings, picnics, camping etc. Particularly pleasing is the matte relief lettering "BOHLENDER", which was implemented on the drinking vessel using the negative mold with a slightly eroded surface in the injection molding tool.

The "Weizenbier-Pokal" planning group, which consisted of seven employees including Volker Bohlender, was passionately involved from the selection of a suitable wheat beer glass mold to product design, procurement of the injection molding tool, sample approvals and final production. Last week, the new BOHLENDER wheat beer goblets then rolled off the production line, more precisely from the Arburg 920S, an injection molding machine specially designed for larger plastic parts.

The managing director was delighted with the successful in-house creation and presented each of his employees with two BOHLENDER wheat beer cups - fitting for the start of the new outdoor season.
